Invitations

Picture
After viewing so many wonderful examples of invitations we decided to make a pocket fold, thanks to the amazing ms.ritaliu for posting the sample and sizes of her pocket fold invitations which helped out a ton! http://sites.google.com/site/msritaliu2/diy  I will be using Turquoise cardstock (trying to figure out which one) and Bazzil Basics Bank Roll, and vellum and will be using flourishes on the invitation. I am making the invitations, RSVP and map using Microsoft Publisher and Photoshop.

Thanks to ajfisher for posting great instructions on how to make your own card box. http://www.projectwedding.com/wedding-ideas/diy-photo-cardbox-instructions for those interested in making their own. :) Mine will be very similar to the picture, though the top will probably be different.

Table Runners and Tassels

Picture
During the holiday break I went to visit my family out in Texas and took all the material I purchased from the Fabric Distric in Los Angeles. We were able to finish all the table runners and even made tassels out of thread for them. I'm so happy since this is the only project my mother and I worked on since she's so far away. I'll upload the pictures as soon as I get them off my old phone :)

Thank you Parasol

I just loved this idea especially for thank you cards.

Other

I also plan on making a few of the bridal party gifts but don't want to say too much in case they happen to see this....I will post pictures after though. I'm going to attempt to make my own peacock feather hair clip and a garter but there is a chance if it doesn't go well I'll end up purchasing these on Etsy lol.
